Have you figured out this issue yet? My 2001 seems to be doing the exact same thing and after replacing the CVs it's still there. I'm lost as the what the sound is. Seems to only happen between 5 and 20 mph. And is louder uphill. Inaudible when I let off the throttle. I'm lost
