    "Tougher" Tailgate

Here is what I did. Has held up pretty good. The foam could use some support though, maybe the particle board from the factory carpet would work well for support. https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/first-writeup-rear-carpet-help-replacement-with-foam-flooring-picture-heavy.808311/

    Santa's Christmas List

I'm interested in seeing what everyone wants or received for Christmas. Doesn't matter big or small. Just really interested in seeing other ideas. Might find something cool to add to my long list of wants. I'll start. This thing looks like a good addition...

What have you done to your 100 Series this week?

I used lights from Alliance Parts, but these are pretty generic light size for trailers. This size light could also be used as a brake/turn signal. I am going to hardwire the lights to a switch to be able to use them for camping also. Here is a link to similar lights, they will need rubber...

Hardware store or auto parts store. They should be a little snug and deep enough to go through the foam and metal. Might have to experiment. I don't have s specific part for these. A lot will work.

Right now gravity. The holes for the rear seats are pretty much holding it in place. I'm looking into a velcro that sticks to carpet. 1-2 rolls depending on the sections you do. The rolls I got were 46"x93".

It is a million times easier to clean. And my carpet was TRASHED by the previous owner. Also this is a anti-fatigue foam. A lot more cushy then oem fabric. I could probably sleep on this stuff.

Rear section I did the other day. I may pull the back carpet section and try to replace it with this foam. This just sits on top for now.

Use the strait lines already in place to minimize cuts(mistakes). Use the carpet as your cutting guide. New plugs. Find the hole..... Finish.
