it looks like your bracket is not made for that hose, get proper ones or file the middle of your bracket out so that it fits right between the two grooves on the brake line. Then it is held in place by the bracket that is c shaped on one side and the other shaped like a 3 on the opposite side...

ps hose flare to o ring i found them at yosemite auto parts in modesto- the part was omega 1200 or 1400. something like that.

it has been done i had one in a 72, cooling was a nightmare but it was fun on the throttle! had to custom make motor mounts but it fit. sorry no picks though. i eventually traded it out to a jet boat guy for a 350.
