Broken Alternator Mount - Where do I get a new one?

I'm looking over that image and I don't think my belts are done up right. My brother did most of the rebuild, but a shop in Salt Lake finished up and tuned the engine, I'll have to look at the work order and see if they put the belts on out-of-order.

Broken Alternator Mount - Where do I get a new one?

I'm wondering if welding would be a good option - and the AC and PS are reversed? That's how it was when I bought it, but maybe it was put together wrong by someone previous. I'll take a look into that as well, maybe that's why it cracked it in the first place. I'll check out those part places...

Broken Alternator Mount - Where do I get a new one?

After 2 years of a broken motor being rebuilt, we finally got my 2F running like a champ and then some. Then, a belt started to whip against the fan up front, so I went and checked the alternator/power steering pump and tightened it up. Only it wasn't tightening up, it was pivoting in a curious...

    1985 Fj60, $2500 Obo

Engine is rebuilt but needs some finishing touches to make it run smooth. Emissions was disconnected kind of... the mechanic that got it running didn't worry about hooking everything up completely. Needs some work but I'm tired of it. 183,000 miles. Asking $2500 OBO. From what I can figure...

1985 FJ60, Rebuilt Motor, New Clutch and Carb

My brother is doing the rebuild, he's rebuilt several motors. He had the block and head machined and cleaned by a reputable shop in American Fork, Utah. In January a bearing went out on the crankshaft, so we garaged it. Found another motor from a 78 FJ40 which we rebuilt but then we...

1985 FJ60, Rebuilt Motor, New Clutch and Carb

Hi, I'm selling my 1985 FJ60 with the original motor freshly rebuilt. So fresh it's not actually installed just yet, but should be finished in the next week. Also put in a brand new clutch from JT Outfitters. The carb was a rebuild that I bought that has a few thousand miles on it, if that...

    1985 Fj60 - $1500

I have a 1985 FJ60 that needs an engine rebuild, or a new engine. The 2F has about 180,000 miles on it before something went kaboom inside, most likely a crankshaft bearing. Had a mechanic look at it and was told could replace them, but most likely do it again after 1000 miles or so. So it...

$8000 to spend on a 60....what would you do?

Well, I'm a young buck at 26, and I'll be going to school for a long time, I'm somewhere in the middle, but I'll get out someday. I don't anticipate having too much job downtime honestly. I can actually go back to where I was, just a different dept doing a different job that's not as fun, but...

$8000 to spend on a 60....what would you do?

Hey ya'll...it a pretty cruddy move I lost my job today, company is restructuring and my spot was no longer needed; I was laid off. However, I was given a severance of $7600. Not too shabby to someone like me! Now, hopefully within a few weeks, I'll have another job that'll get me by just fine...

Stock 60 with 33" tires and an H55?

I'm running 32x11.50's with a stock 4speed and 3.70 gears and it goes pretty solid on the highway, as mentioned above you can start from 2nd without a clutch roast. However, driving up hills is a bit more labored than it used to be. As for on the trail, 4L 1st gear still crawls me around...
