can someone tell me the differences as well as the pros and cons of CB and Ham/Amateur radio. I am interested in getting one or the other and getting licesned, how much would a portable or car HAM cost? and, although im sure it varies by state what is the cost of a license?

ok, its another mileage thread. but im only getting around 150-160 miles on a tank, id like to at least squeez 200 out of it if not more. it seems to me just from observation that its getting worse, because a year and a half ago when i got it i was getting 180-190 a tank, but i cant really...

transmission fluid was changed a week ago. along with a full tune up

Today while leaving school, my car wouldnt shift out of second till 3100 rpms regardless of pedal pressure. it cruised at 40mph at 3000 rpms. and made a squeeling sound from the front tires/wheel wells. it stopped doing this later but id like to know what this is or means.

well im getting the whole thing done at the local toyota dealership for 350. Local mechanic said 800 so im saving quit a bit.

well im sixteen and dont have any tools. but i would if i did. i would like to do as much as i possiably can. but what tools would i need to be able to do it my self

How much am i expectiating to pay for a rusted and leaking oil pan on a 88 FJ-62. Including labor if it has to be replaced or if they can patch it up. thanks in advance

I just got an 88 FJ62. It has manual windows and locks. Which i like better one question though. how much would a 5 spd Manual tranny swap cost if i got a mechanic to do it for me
