    OK, so I work at a bmw dealership. I bought this off trade as soon as the deal was done. The guy who traded it lived in a real nice part of town and paid cash for a new 7 series, he said he was the second owner. My intentions were to keep it, but a 2003 lx came up and I am buying tomorrow.

    I'm glad to hear they are doing right by you. I felt terrible to hear this, and having only bought my 2000 hundy very recently I could only imagine what I would have done having it happen on the way home. 50/50 is a deal!

    I agree completely with this, at least make it home!!! I would think a small dealer who lives basically off online reviews from the likes of cars.com would be terrified of an unhappy customer. I sell roughly 30 used cars "as is" every month and even with a huge amount of disclosure of the sale...

    What a bummer... I live in Richmond and work at a car dealership. I'm sorry to say the state has no cool off period for you, it is "as is" once you leave the lot. Does the dealership (I'm not familiar with them) have a shop that checked it out? Did they send it over to Lexus to check it out...
