Hi there, What codes did you use to program to read the transmission temperature? I have a 04 GX470 and the codes (all 4 of them) on the websites don't work.

I just replaced the 2 units - not the OEM housing that holds them together. To remove the accumulator, you need a tool that fits on the 2 notches on the top to remove it and put the new one on. Torque to 40 ft-lb

I just went through the same issue and replaced both the hydraulic brake booster motor and the accumulator. The screeching noise is due to the accumulator failure. Now you need to replace the accumulator. Sorry, you will have to pull the whole unit out again to work on the accumulator unit...

I'm interested in hearing if you have installed any skid plates to help protect the cat from theft. I'm exploring options to protect the cat as well and want to hear what you and others have done. From what I see from different skid plate manufacturers, even with the full transfer case skid...

Thank you for your response. I don't go off-road as hard as you have from some of the YT videos that I have seen. I'm thinking of going with steel skid plates too.

Hi, I like all of your mods so far. How are your RCI skid plates? Do they cover the catalytic converter to prevent it from being stolen? With all the increased cat being stolen, I'm worried about mine. Thanks in advance for your response. Vong
