I use it whenever we get a CEL in my wife's GLS63 with direct injection. She has 175k miles and about every 6 months or so a CEL pops up and it's always a misfire. Originally dealer would replace injectors and coils but neither ever helped. Independent mechanic suggested BG44k. I add one can...
OEM. Just got it from Olathe. Did some research and thought it was NLA but must not be the case or else they had old stock. No more fiddling around trying to get it buckled - super smooth. It's the little things in life!
Just replaced my DS seatbelt. The belt was still in good shape but every now and then it wouldn't pull out and I'd have to inch it out and it would take a while to get enough to buckle it. I'm at about 375K miles so old belt did its job. Going to go drive around and test it out!
Bronze wheels and roof rack were standard. Roof rack also has a key that you need to remove it. If you want a different offset then the wheels don't really matter. For some reason when I was looking Carfax would show HE sometimes even when not. That looks like an HE though.
I change a lot of oil and always have. Wouldn't let anyone else do it. Good time to eyeball everything.
I have an old shipping blanket I lay out. I use one of those plastic tubs you get at Home Depot for mixing cement in. They're rectangular about 2 ish feet by 3 feet and about 6-8 inches deep...
Mine started bouncing around and finally quit at 285k miles. Both the speedo and odometer. I was told it couldnt be fixed so I replaced it with a new one. Not sure if what i was told is true or not. I have abt 79k on the new one now.
I've never seen orange but that doesn't mean anything. If from dealer I'd be surprised if it was fake. And if it was a fake they'd want it to look as real as possible so why make it orange?
For my cars I always buy consumables at a dealer. Toyota, Lexus, Mercedes. I feel safe with dealers I...
Just had the windshield replaced in my '20 HE. Super paranoid after reading about leaks plus I have an 80 that is even more susceptible to leaking that I've been through the leak problem with on multiple occasions over the years.
I'm in the Dallas area and decided to go to a Lexus dealership...
I have 285/60 ko2s on my all stock suspension '20 that were on the truck new when I bought it. D range. I do a lot of highway and in town driving. I have an 80 with E range and when I first got the 200 the ride was horrible compared to my 80. 80 felt plush 200 felt jarring over bumps and backend...
Installed 4 of these. One went missing a while back when i had it at my mechanic. Replaced with one from ebay but was loose and eventually flew off somewhere. So was on ebay looking again and took one off to see markings on back and then lost it! Must not have put it back all the way tight...
Get a 200 but keep your 80. Why would you get rid of it? I've been driving my '94 for 22 years and I'm working into my 200. I switch back and forth. 200 is more luxury but the 80 is great!
