1987 Toyota Land Cruiser LandCruiser - For parts or restoration -... - https://nashville.craigslist.org/cto/d/nashville-1987-toyota-land-cruiser/7285980097.html
So far, very happy.
Keep in mind, I own an LX which has the usual LX sound abatement. With that being said, the noise, handling, comfort, and off road use have been great so far.
We had snow last week here, which is rare, and I'd put them a bit below the KO2s in winter weather driving, but...
Final update:
Leak has been found and fixed.
It was the driver's side front sunroof drain.
Before I could snake the drain I had to find it. Before I could find it I had to remove the perfectly sized wad of paper (that looked like a receipt that has been through the wash) that had clogged...
Thanks to this thread I just did both of my mirrors, which were horribly loose and bouncing around.
Drivers side went easy, but broke a clip installing the cover. Passenger side wasn't so good... two of the star screws heads were already stripped. Installed one new screw and put the cover back...
For Sale - 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser 54k miles Silverado, CA - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/2002-toyota-land-cruiser-54k-miles-silverado-ca.1242194/
For $12k with AHC already gone and an ARB bumper, I thought seriously about driving down there today.
Then I realized my wife might actually kill me if I bought a third LC/LX, considering we've only driven about 2k miles in the past 12 months.
He who dies with the most cruisers wins, right?
I own two LXs. No offense taken.
The Land Cruisers look better and are iconic. The LX is a sleeper. It's like putting a dainty fur coat on a heavyweight boxer.
Considering a 2002 with 54k miles went for $61k, I'd not be surprised if the 2006 with 18k went for $50k - $65k.
The only thing it has working against it is being an LX instead of an LC.
The market is crazy right now.
