The vehicle has only 11k miles...just change the oil with a quality synthetic and go 8k to 12k between oil changes...but occasionally check the oil level. Also, I would really reconsider doing anything to the tranny until at least 50k...then do a drain-n-fill with Toyota stuff. The diffs still...

ARB...it's quality, protection & longevity pretty much speaks for itself.

...have you tried the climate control clip behind the interior t-stat? mine and others on here have had this problem before and it was just a connector that became unplugged...check it out...and electrical tape them back together while you're in there...even check to see if the t-stat is pugged...

gas mileage is awful...but you're sportin' a cruiser so who cares. Have a trusted mechanic check out the vehicle and then offer them $4500 and tell'em to call you back if /when they're ready to sell at that price...I would. He who cares the least usually wins...
