Sharpecat, I may need your help again. I'm having a difficult time contacting them for the update/warranty exchange. It's becoming annoying and concerning when you can't get in reach with them just for a response, any response. I've left both voice mail and text messages. I had thought this...

Get the side. Totally worth the money. I have the vl65 and the slide madea life so much easier as it can slide the fridge all th way out. Makes accessing the fridge a breeze. It's a two position slide meaning you can slide it partially out and all the way out. On another note... Anyone has...

Update on my warranty swap. It's been over a week since I've been in contact with iceco/Lu. They have not responded to my text or call. I'm hoping to hear back from them by the end of this week. I had thought this would be quick and easy as I'm local to them.

I was hoping the same thing since I have my vl65 slider bolted in. I definitely don't want to drill more holes.

I feel your frustrations. I would be pissed too. Like I was this past weekend when my fridge crapped out day one of a 4 day trip. Luckily it didn't totally crapped out but rather limped along. Thank god for portable solar panels and solar generators.

I don't think that's a good comparison between group buy and warranty. There's no written contract on group buys; and things can fall apart during the process from either side. Warranty is a written contract and part of what the consumer paid for. Also, they seem to be pretty responsive thus...

Well, the opposite is happening, the compressor doesn't stop running, hence my solar generator is drained after 8-10 hours. I've gotten into contact with someone from Iceco and they're locating a unit for me to exchange. I must say their customer service is excellent for me so far. Will...

I hate to post this, but it has to be done. I picked up a vl65 on group buy around sept 2020. Finally had a chance to take it out this Memorial day weekend. I had test run it a couple times last year at home and in the truck but not on an actual trip due to covid and CA fires. Fast forward...

Unfortunately we are having terrible weather and fires here in SoCal so I can't test the TP solar 120w panel. Just for fun I'm running my fridge with the panel on my dash via ac50s. I'm reading a whopping 11w input with the fridge drawing 64w. Edit: I'd like to get into the 90s watt range for...

Those jackeries are running pwm controllers so it not drawing the max voltage from the panel, which is 18v. It's drawing a little above the battery voltage which is probably around 13 volts, maybe a little higher. MPPT controllers would draw the max voltage from these panels at 18v.

I ended ordering a TP solar 120w panel and a parallel cable. Will see how this thing works. The main reason I got this panel is because I can't find a 5.5x2.5mm female to mc4 cable for the Paxcess. Also, the panel is really thin and their customer support seems to be really good. It looks...

Thinking about this, it doesn't make a lot of sense. It's the charge controller that regulates the input, not the panels. So really, as long as you can make the right connections, it should work, if your charge controller can handle it.

I've only had for a couple of days and charged it twice from the wall outlet. It does seem to be running the whole time. I really haven't paid attention. On another note, any idea how to connect this solar panel to another one like the paxcess one?

I got my AC50s on Saturday. Started my test run (fully charged) yesterday at 10am and it died out 1pm today. Temp was steady at 36* and 38* for my dual 65L. I set both compartments at 38*. Inside truck temp is probably around the 80s in the back of my truck. It has been on the warm side...

thanks for the pic. I may be mistaken, but that might look like what's already under my fridge. I was thinking of feet that you have to install yourself. Am I correct to assume that you didn't have to install those feet yourself?
