the hills of Santa Cruz in Trinidad...friend of mine owns a huge old cocoa estate up there and he has a "road" going through part of it...even though it had rained that morning and my AT's aren't the happiest in the mud, i couldnt resist!! Really happy about the bumper find...was pretty rough...

Stretched the legs a bit in the rain forest a couple weeks back. More recently, I FINALLY found an OEM front bumper at a reasonable price!! Got it straitened out, shot it matte black and bolted her right up. Vast improvement to the 'snow plow' front bumper I was rockin' before.

major clutch work!! a leaky high-gear shaft seal combined with the wrong clutch master cylinder (thanks PO!!) meant major slipage and reallll difficulty getting the truck in gear!! :doh: slapped in an Aisin clutch kit and a new (correct part this time) clutch master... just need to get...

i did you the >>>..Search btw, and didnt really pin point on what I wanted to find. Was hoping that some fellow 40 owner would have some documentation of their own custom snorkel install including parts, cost, install advice etc, that will give me some help with my own proposed project...

Just a quick shout for anyone out there running custom snorkels on their rigs!! Really want to install a snorkel on my 40 but not about to put out the $400 it's gonna take to purchase a ready made kit Any info would be great....pics, parts, tools, opinions, oh yeh and PICS!! Come on...

Sent it into the body shop to be stripped and taken down to bare metal....now it's time to decide on a colour!!

Recently installed a 38/38 weber on my rig and it's running wayyyy rich. I know a ton of you are gonna say, 'stock is best IMO' but I'm in bed with the weber already so I want to make it work!! So my question is, if I order a Jet Pac kit to re-jet the carb will I be getting the right...

hmmmm....this makes my choice that much harder....now to find someone that brings in quality suspension kits or order it online and get it shipped in a container or something...we'll see how things work out....cheers!

Thanks guys!! The kit comes with everything, including shackles, bushings etc, and the dealer provides installation, service and a warranty. So it is really looking like the best option. I'll look into the Aussie lockers too. Was looking at the Detroit but agree'd too much $$$. Cheers!!
