Yeah, I wasn't happy about those wing brackets when I was installing, I felt like I was being hoodwinked by ARB. LOL
Plus they are wonky when you are trying to install them and level them and line them up with back bumper. (actually used a level)
But supposedly they are replaceable if the...
I think i used your install pictures to help me with my install. : ) LOL
And to answer the question for chriscosta416 - The AHC on my 570 has not had any issues with the weight of a front bumper, rear bumper, skids, sliders and a roof rack. I do notice that when going from HIGH down to LOW...
oddly enough, I did not have to touch the AHC. The ARB bumper does not get in the way or require you to move the AHC resi etc. I did have to remove the spare tire, spare tire cranker thingy, metal tire holders, and cut out some metal bars welded to the rear frame, and for giggles removed the...
Not a Dissent, and I just finished my ARB rear bumper last week... well, 98% finished. The 2013 rear quarter panel reflectors are not exact fits for the bumper swing arm covers, which i knew going into this, but I am happy with the ARB bumper. I also need to drill holes for the Buck up...
I believe they are the CBI brackets for the 2013 Land Cruiser. I used a heat gun to melt the plastic cowl around the mount. Had to do one side at time because as you heat up the plastic cowl you have to slowly close the hood to get the plastic to form around the bracket. its not the prettiest...
yeah, sorry if it was too much... LOL : ) That is one thing I have noticed with the LXs in these "forums". There is not enough pictures, details or instructions. No one really wants to take the time to post the "in process" pictures or they end up leaving their vehicle with one of the off...
The tap passes through the same circuit, hence the use of two fuses. So you can pull power from that fuse slot and still use the AC power plug.
Quick disconnects are your typical heat shrink adapters Tab A in Slot B kinda thing.
Using solder is up to you. Crimps work just fine. I like to...
As promised. The Fuse Panel, with the hidden grounded bolt at the back of the panel used for grounding. And I really think i can shove more screens in front of my face...
It was actually really easy, I removed the speaker held in place with 2 x 10mm bolts, soldered the wires together from the USB chargers so that I would have only a single pos/neg wire running to the fuse panel and made a quick disconnect for the wires up by the speaker for removal of the mount...
My Camera is a Garmin 67 something or another and I bought an adapter off of amazon that allowed me to plug an inline adapter in with the power from the mirror. I could not find an "exact model" for the 2013 LX570, so I rolled the dice on the 2020 4unner model, and it worked.... : )
