Parts and labor ran about $1300 for that portion of it. The shop said book hours on that was 13 hours, but only charged 10 hours. I had a new steering rack (warranty replacement) installed and the shop ate 3 hours as the warranty portion of it.
Just drove this Ole "Landy" on a 1000 mile trip. Not bad for one that has 431,700 miles. Just replaced the steering rack with a Toyota rack and new lower ball joints from 555. She's good to go a few more miles.
I have removed the AHC Reservoir since the photo (this past weekend). The heater t's appear to have been changed. I will probably change them again for assurance.

I believe it could be buffed out. Yes, it's located in Knoxville. You can change out the head units to aftermarket and still use the factory amp. There are threads here on mud that explain how to do it.
