Just added a black one to my 2000. There are multiple colors available. Had to trim the alignment pins off to add to the 2000.

Yes, that is the AC idler. Loosen the center bolt and move it with the adjusting bolt. The bracket on the alternator just floats on there! Loosen the bolt on the front, use the adjuster bolt to tension the belt, then tighten bolt on front. and the bottom bolt.

I have a '99 rusty crusty rear end waiting to go into my 2000. I'm also just going to grind the notch in my housing.
