    Fuel line routing at tank

My 1972 FJ40 tank rusted out. I got a great deal on a new Toyota fuel tank but for newer models. To verify my searches, my question is the supply line is now the pipe on the bottom and the return is the side where my original supply was? And the three small lines on top are all emission related...

    Windshield hold-down Bracket location

Can someone give me a measurement from the dash edge and top of the bracket that the windshield knob goes through? Previous owner removed them and I have replacement used brackets. I can see where the spot welds were but I not sure how high it needs to go. Not sure if necessary but it is a 1972

Sorry I wasn't very clear on seat. I am also using the cumminscruiser seat mount and am trying figure out the best way to mount the rear bar. It looks like you are over to one side. The front bar is limited because of the toolbox.

Do you have any more pictures of the seat mounts in the rear? I've been trying to mock mine up and don't want to lose the seat belt mounting nuts if possible. Also how thick are the seats? My old seat mount (homemade) with generic universal seats was 2 ½ inches shorter and with that I was...

SOLD  Oregon 1972 FJ40 partial body cowl Seeking interest.

In southern Oregon I have a partial body from a 1972 FJ40. Cowl is is in good shape. Floors are salvagable, B-pillars back sheetmetal is trash. If not needed it will be scrapped.

    Value of Rusted Body.

Everything from the B pillar back is all homemade even the rear sill except for the top rail. Not very good workmanship but it's mainly a trail rig. As for the cowl it is sound a couple of extra holes and a few filled in.

I have a 1972 FJ40 body that was rusted in all the normal places. I cut out a lot of the pieces in anticipation of replacing them. A friend with a large brake helped form wheelwell and sides but are very rough. The cowl, B pillar and the rear top rails are okay. The front footwells are decent...
