This guy has a company wrap his drift car headers and hot side of his turbo kit in a type of heat shield. Fast forward to 15:45 to see him unbox them and talk about it. He hasn't raced with it yet, but if it will hold up to a drift car, might be worth a shot on a race truck.

Nicely done, reminds me that I need to do this on my Tundra for the 37s... not looking forward to it...

they do the same to mine lol, I usually get asked what all I did to fit the 37s like they can't see the grinder and hammer marks 😂😂

Sadly down here there are not many Tundras that get off the pavement. I mainly get asked when I go to Discount Tire for something.

Have you had the chance to test fit the spare tire again with the dry break installed?

I think I also like the unchopped version, but chopped = less weight = more speed

2010 should have the 4.6 or 5.7, so with that I’d check the water pump for any signs of leakage (pink buildup). Haven’t heard of rust issues with the second gen but worth watching for.

They make a harness to make these lights work on 2nd gen Tundras also, but total cost for the lights, harness, new filler plates and paint is right around $2000... :censor:
