This guy has a company wrap his drift car headers and hot side of his turbo kit in a type of heat shield. Fast forward to 15:45 to see him unbox them and talk about it. He hasn't raced with it yet, but if it will hold up to a drift car, might be worth a shot on a race truck.
2010 should have the 4.6 or 5.7, so with that I’d check the water pump for any signs of leakage (pink buildup). Haven’t heard of rust issues with the second gen but worth watching for.
They make a harness to make these lights work on 2nd gen Tundras also, but total cost for the lights, harness, new filler plates and paint is right around $2000... :censor:
