Just an update for anyone having trouble getting keys for their LX's. I ordered These keys from Amazon and the remotes programmed no problem. The transponder chips in these keys are for Toyota, not Lexus, and I was not able to get them to start the vehicle. @Mauser was able to send me the...
One thing I ALWAYS do on any timing belt job is remove the spark plugs to prevent any compressing in the cylinders that could make the engine rotate. I learned this the hard way 15 years ago on an old Saab V6. Just good piece of mind...
This is really the only photo I have with the Turbomac wheels. Stock AHC, pinch welds cut back and still rubbing. They were really close to clearing the pinch welds but under full compression they rubbed on the fenders.
I ended up swapping out my wheels. The offset was too much, they were rubbing on the fenders under compression. If anyone is looking for a set of these wheels in bronze for a 5 lug tundra, I have a set for sale.
@2001LC Thanks for the input.

I am pretty familiar to driveline vibrations and drones and can 99% say it is a rotational/vibration that is causing this drone. By "on the gas" I mean, while the load of the engine is light to moderate. Under normal to heavy acceleration, there is no drone. While coasting there is no drone...
Long story short, chasing a drone on the gas around 55-70, vehicle is fairly new to me and noticed it doesn't have the passenger side vibration dampener. I have read a long thread about this same drone and it makes me want to try putting that vibration dampener on to see if that works. The...
@OEMGUY0720 Looks good. Still curious on long term. I've heard of other seals going after stop leak products, but who knows if that was the culprit or a coincidence. I'll have to look into bluedevil now. Thanks
