I have the same truck with the same features and just got a BT45 and adapter cable, but none of the plugs match up. Different connectors. There's a thread "hello and help"

No good. The plug at the changer is the same design as at the radio. Nothing matches

I don't think I could identify the SAT plug. My problem is that none of the plugs on the BT or addl cable match with ANY of the existing plugs or sockets. They only match themselves.. I sent an email to USA Spec last night, but haven't heard back. I'll call if I don't hear something soon. Thanks!

Crutchfield said it was on back order, but I reserved one and figured I'd wait. I was pleasantly surprised to get it two days later .

I thought so too, and it would certainly be more convenient, but I didn't find anything in the instructions about it. everything I read said make the connections at the radio.. Tomorrow morning I'll try the changer harness. Thanks
