So what happened? My 1990 FJ62 is slipping from 2nd to 3rd, and was going to adjust the kickdown cable to try and fix the problem. Let us know!

Could any of you guys help me know how to locate and adjust the KD cable? I'm a novice, just bought an FJ62 with a slipping trans going from 2nd to 3rd gear. Original owner drove it that way for 12 years. What tools, etc... do I need?

If my "Rodney flush" doesn't fix the slippage in my transmission this weekend, then I'll buy the transmission and pick it up in person here in LA.
