Put in just short of 500 miles. It was to hot to stay at our regular spot 🥵 so we went to a RV resort and turned on the AC. And hit there hot tub. Only 550 more miles to go 😂 I’m sure we will leave well before first light tomorrow to beat the heat.

It seems some sneaky S!$T snuck a label on my truck Wednesday night while I was distracted at the raffle. My winch link now pulls double duty as a thermometer. I hope you all stay healthy, so it is never put to use. 🤣

Walked around camp yesterday afternoon it was a ghost town, 90% of the Cruisers and cruiser heads were gone 😔 We’re trying to get an early start home this morning. Another SAS in the bag !! Great seeing everyone !! Safe travels !!

You bet! I had a really good time. Someone needs to rescue the Land Cruiser that is rusting away in the barn. I might have to go back up there today on my way out to see if there is a way to hook it up behind my camper. Have safe travels home or...

Wanna give a shout out to the crew at Rusty Nail Racing, who really helped me in a pinch and went above and beyond to get me fixed up. Rig was smoking like crazy, tuned for 800’ elevation and overfueling so bad I was getting fuel in the oil...

We’re not going to make, Patricia is still sore/ not feeling good from the recovery incident on Monday.

7:00 would be better, I did not think I could get folks up that early. I plan for 7 as well.

We were thinking of 7ish at the trailhead to beat the heat. I have a a few with me that want to go, but we are still down.

Just a heads up. I hiked this trail about a month ago, I'm a local, Montrose, and it's the only trail I've hiked in the last ten years where I started getting blisters, and that was in the first mile. It's that steep. Just be prepared. However...
