Hey guys, My mate has a fj62 and i have a 60, both Australia spec 4bys, he is always telling me that his front diff is locked and his rear diff is LSD, his 4by is stock but he is sure this is what it came with from new. He has no air lockers or cable lockers but both front tyres spin...

Why would you leave out the extended shackles, is there to much body roll ???, im also going down the same road as you have (no soa), and a 2 1/2 lift and shackles was the direction i was heading in, feed back would be great. :cheers:

Hey guys, The new 60 has a 190ltr petrol tank :o, and a 85ltr lpg (gas) tank in the mounted in the rear, my question is, do i need heavy duty springs in the rear ??? Im getting them reset asap and i was wondering if it would be a good idea to add a leaf, cos thats alot of weight back there...

Nah, it's a 60. 84' 2f, all compliance plates and engine numbers match, what diff set-ups are standard in these things (in Australia) ??? :cheers:

Hey guys, The 60 im getting has a "lock, un-lock" button in the middle of the dash, just wondering if the 60 has a diff lock. Is there a way of telling, for eg. Jacking it up and turning wheels ??? Other wise i've got no idea what the button is for :slap:, might have to trace the wires...

Hey Guys, I'm trading the fj55 on a fj60, i was so supprised to feel the difference in power and comfort :D. Anyway it's got pizza cutters for tyres and rims, you know, 16x6 inch chromies. Just wondering whats the biggest tyres i could put on those rims ???. Cheers

Hey guys, I really need to know some info on how to setup one of these systems, i cant justify paying $400 for a compressor that takes 4 mins to pump up a tyre :doh:. If you have any pictures of what i need that would be great! :cheers:

Hey Archie, I'm doing the same myself this weeked, and when i asked the guy at the local parts shop for some oil for my diffs, gear box and transfer case, he handed me 12ltrs of the same grade Valvoline oil? I asked if this was right ??? and he showed me the specs for my 76 fj55, and there it...

Cheers mate, That helps heaps, the rebuilt F was started last night and has awsome oil pressure, its just running a little rough without the info you gave me. Hopefully now it will be smooth as, :cheers:
