"Nest" on top of cabin air filter

Probably 2 hours for the cabin air intake and 1 for the engine air intake. Took some time making templates for both. I’d say a double banana job just because of the cowl removal.

Looks good, I like that screen material too. Where did you source that from? Link to what I bought https://a.co/d/jh4FG7H

    Which resonator to use...

Well that was a quick 12 years gone by so that’s sort of amazing!! Unfortunately the rear hanger rusted off and took the muffler outlet weld with it 😖. I threw on a strap style hanger until I could get a permanent fix worked out. I’m tempted to throw a new muffler on “while I’m in there” but...

Clean that AC / Heater Blower

Man I was all up in there and I don’t see an easy way to install anything from below. Is everyone removing the upper cowl to install this stuff?

Clean that AC / Heater Blower

Thanks, I’ll definitely be adding something like that. Bummer there’s no cabin filter to keep stuff out of the blower or at least the evaporator.

Clean that AC / Heater Blower

I had quite the mess in mine…I was wondering where all the hood insulation had gone! Sprayed a bunch of condenser cleaner in there followed by a ton of water to flush it out. FYI the windex bottle fits right up in there to dump in the water, it just pours back out the drain. Cleaned up pretty...

12v Power Outlet Not Working (Cig Lighter and 115v Outlets Work Fine)

I’m looking to power this socket as always on, perhaps that would be easier than replacing the relay. If you get the ECU open you could bypass the relay there with a solder bridge or similar. There must be something else not working as well as it shows circuits 5 (2C) and 61 (2D) are both fed...

    2008 DVD bypass

This is great, thanks for the update! I can’t help but wonder if these wires are accessible somewhere else, like in the kick panels. I’m always worried about adding more rattles to the dash.

messed with mirror wiring, truck won’t start!

Just added three 45W USB-C ports and one USB QC port for $27, normally I wouldn’t post about something so trivial but the bottom cover actually closed over it which I thought was pretty 😎

messed with mirror wiring, truck won’t start!

I might as well show the radar detector wiring that started this thread. I had pulled the wiring back out to troubleshoot the dead battery but now it’s back in. Picked up a mirror tap kit from Amazon but tapped into the rain sensor instead. I had previously disconnected the rain sensor because...

messed with mirror wiring, truck won’t start!

I took the tray right out and put a piece of rubber under it instead, the Slee stiff is nice but I don’t think it’s needed.
