Had that stupid clunk noise from my front axle. Finally had the axle replaced at work.

So without the carpet it is very noticeable. I won't be putting the carpet back in, so I don't know how much better it would be with carpet. There are some parts of the trunk that already have some on it.

Got a little project working in the third row where I won't have carpet back there anymore. While the carpet is out decided to Kilmat it to keep it quiet.

I just did mine with break on labor and nearly cost for parts and replacing pretty much everything on the front of engine like noted here and I paid, $1900

I feel your pain... Even at employee cost I paid a little over $400 for one. I was going to go with aftermarket or rebuilt ones but these ones lasted 200k miles, so wth. Good luck, would love to know how they do.

I was originally looking at the Sony and Alpine that are very similar, but I really wanted to be able to run any app on it. Only thing better would if I could have mounted an iPad on there.
