Pick this up a few days ago in Virginia Beach. 90k miles for 30k. Some very minor issues nothing I can take care myself or live with for the short term. Have bee. A GM guy for years but have been bitten by the LC/LX bug. So far pretty happy with the purchase. Over 500 miles already using it on...
My plan is to DD it and add to it along the way. I mostly want a vehicle I can drive for more than a few years and have it be worn out. I normally put 30k+ mile a year on a vehicle.
Hey, everyone. I am working on a deal on an LX570. It has lived in NJ. The seller sent me the following photos of the undercarriage. Any thoughts? Too much rust? Its a one owner and a decent deal. Just looking for some validation I guess.
He actually sent me a photo of the undercarriage, didn't look bad, but it was one photo of one limited area. I just can't understand trying to sell a vehicle and taking awful photos. Regardless of if you are a dealer or a private party.
Yes, I saw that one. Had another member comment that the frame had quite a bit of rust and otherwise looked pretty rough inside and out. I had actually talked to that dealership before I brought it up here for opinions. I decided to pass obviously
.
I am looking for a 2008-2011 LX570 or LC200, would prefer the Lexus. Looking for something under 130k miles. I would like to spend no more than $27.5k but for something just right or with a few less miles I might be able to swing a little more. Non smoker, that is a deal breaker all the way...
Thanks for the info. I don't generally mind mechanical work but a bunch of rust is pretty much a non starter for me. I just don't have a lot of experience with these, and I wanted to make sure others were seeing the same thing I was. I saw that too about the auctions, that usually doesn't bother...
Looking at this 2008 LX570.
Small Dealership.
Carfax says it has lived its life in New York for the most part.
The sent me some photos of the undercarriage. See below. It looks like it has been repainted on the rails.
It looks a little rough, but for the price I am not afraid of a little...
