Is this the later years only? Why did I think they were 6-7v hit with 12-14v for two second for a superheat before after glowing at 6v. At 11v if that's true they would be near impossible to burn out with a memontary switch.

Does anyone have a part number for 10-11v glow plugs that will work with the L series engine? 92 hilux surf, has momentary switch on a contactor and the glow plugs finally went. I don't want to rebuild the 6v system. I was thinking about using the ones for s 1HZ or 1HD they are 11v - 96mm...
