I have a 92’... I kept the 15x7 stock wheels and got 33” BFG KO2 I've had them for a few years they are great ... just my opinion.

I desmogged my 1992 FJ 80, I have the bracket and air pump 17610-61050 if anyone is needing one. I do not know the working order of it aside from it was in use when I bought the vehicle. It is not seized up. I am looking for $100 plus whatever it takes to ship to you. I am in OKC.

One thought... My bro had a motor mount bad on a different car that every rev of the engine caused it to twist and lift up which made the fan touch the shroud other thoughts ... Maybe ur fan clutch is toast? maybe a bad bearing in a pulley ?

My cruiser is straight stock still btw... stock rims with 33's, all else stock.

funny turn of events.... to answer your question I think the quality was great. Took forever to change them all our but they look beefy. so I got all the front ones changed out and the popping actually got worse. Then further diagnosed the popping as the tierod ends... got new ones and...

I had popping sound under from end of 1992 when I would turn the wheel and go on any incline/decline. Found a youtube video where a guy had that sound and he put a camera under his car and drove it... showing it to be the bushings in the control arms that hold up the axle. Bought SOR's kit and...

had an exhaust leak begin on the inner down pipe to cat... needed to replace o2 sensors badly but they were rust welded on something fierce... ordered in new denso o2 sensors, bungs from a guy on ebay for 7 each heck of a deal imo... muffler shop did a bang up job cutting and welding etc.. new...

Mine made a buzz sound... Also was very hot to the touch. When u pull it out slowly u can hear it disengage.
