I'm at the top of NJ and we have the same heavy salted roads here too. That liquid calcium they spray on the roads eats up metel very quickly. I have never seen so many rusty trucks like I do now.
I Agree.... its definetley not a quality stainless steel as described. It looked aluminized to me. I went ahead and painted it with high temp paint prior to installing it. Not sure if I should keep it or send it back and go OEM for a few extra bucks.

Both of my Bilstein rears shocks broke at the top of the shaft right where it's welded to the eye. Bilstein would not cover it. I noticed my new Bilstein part # had a extra digit at the end? What a PITA the upper rear bolts are, a 19 MM racheting box end wrench will help ease the pain.
Have a good look at the Hankook Dynapros ATM RF10, just installed some 285s on my 100 and am impressed, they are a real nice AT that has a deep aggressive tread pattern, and ride great on road, by no means is this a wimpy AT tire.
