If you could get the dealer to see the problem, you could try for a free transmission flush, just to be sure. I changed out my transfer and rear diff oils at 5,000 and both were black/brown. Can't wait to see what the transmission looks like at 50,000. The FJ does have one of the most used...

For the money and ease of install, you should put the drop kit in. You should not have any problem with a 3", but why wait to see. And yes, you most likely will see it only off road. Put it in and be happy. You will have ended a problem before it started. Chance is cool, if you have the time...

A bit hard I think. My seats start to hurt at about 600 miles. Not bad, but I might get some covers this summer.
