I just contacted a semi local guy who’s an authorized tune installer. He said because I was going catless with the Doug thorley LTs that he was unable to tune my truck for liability reasons.

This is good to hear. I just order some LT headers a long with some other small mods. Once the headers get installed I plan on getting a tune. Ive heard the headers alone really open it up. Are you on factory gears by chance ?

If you believe the inner and outers are good, inspect the rack bushings. I’ve recently had the same issue and the rack bushings were shot.
