Joining in on the stereo wiring fun... with a completely different reason for wanting to understand things! I bought the 86120-90A09 model myself. The sticker does say 12V (4OHM, 3A). The connector coming out of the stereo on mine does NOT have the yellow wire shown in the pic from @jobispo...

Finally received the roof rack I ordered in April of ‘21!!!

I'm assuming the shop I've gone to is friendly... they passed me last time WITHOUT the air intake hose :cool:. They did suggest I "work on that before you come back"

Thank you @DFXR I went ahead and ordered the one you posted about. I'd imagine smog issues happened with a previous owner and this was added to get it to pass. I will drive it around without, just to see, but assuming I get everything put back together, I'll install it to go in for my test.

Thanks @OSS. I am in the process of preparing for a (CA) smog test. Rebuilt the carb and plan to finish the hoses and then take it in to see where I stand. I think for now I’ll just hook this up without the VTV. If I fail, perhaps that’s one (of most likely many) thing I can try to pass.

Just to utilize the search functionality, I’m going to post a question about VTV’s here… I was replacing all vacuum hoses today and I successfully pulled off hoses on all VTV’s except one. Unfortunately, I do not see it referenced in the emissions manual. I also don’t find it online when...

i am in conversation with Ironman. sent them pics and dimensions. i’m sure we’ll get it figured out, but also ordered anti inversions just in case. you got a beaut there Yooper! Those 31’s?

left a message with Ironman this morning. I am starting to think I shouldn’t have gone with heavy duty in the first place, but we’ll see what they say.

Ironman states a 2”. i got a 4” increase in height from center of wheel to apex of wheel well. Old ones were original (87) and FLAT. I’m going to order anti-inversion shackles as the passenger side rear flips up (towards front) against the frame just going over the 2” curb of our driveway…
