Lower base is not broken. Just need the out back cover. Does anyone know the part number or any eBay listing as I can’t find it. All I see are the once for GX 460 or 2016+ lx
I broke the passenger side side mirror's out cover on my 2014 LX. Dealer wants 1200 and i am not able to find the outer cover. So kind of in the similar situation. Any ideas where i can get the outer cover. I am unable to see it online.
Talk about approach angle... previous owner installed a JAOS spoiler :(
I can’t afford to remove it yet will cost$$$
So just riding with it.. I definitely get some looks lol 😆..
But love the LX...
That might get expensive. I will say fix what’s broken. I wanted to do the same for my GX and my mechanic strictly told me that it only need Left outer tie rod end and hub, that fixed the issue.
Good to get a proper diagnosis before you replace parts.
I got burnt recently where I replaced half...
May be...
Another Noticeable symptom of toe rod end is steering wander + Steering vibration on 60+ mph.
It’s also possible that they are just starting to go bad.
You’ll have do the alignment after replacing those...
Agree
Pay for pre-purchase inspection if you are buying it from anyone other than Lexus dealer.
Check Lexus drivers website... you can get all service history if it was done by Lexus dealer/s
Number of owners don’t really matter if the car itself checks out.
I recently bought my 2014 LX with 21K miles just yesterday turned 22k.
First owner sold it at 3k
Second sold it at 21k
The way I drive mine, weekends only... it probably will have much lower miles than average with 3 owners.
I...
Got them balanced and front passenger wheel came out bent... I wonder what happened in a week when it was parked or they didn’t pay attention before. Had them swap the tire with the spare wheel and vibration is gone. Now will be back to get it aligned and find someone to straighten the wheel...
So after installing the new tires, i have driven it around 250 miles. I am getting noticeable vibration at 55mph and above. And also i need to keep steering wheel a little to the left to keep the car straight.
I am taking it back to the tire shop to check the alignment and balancing.
Any one...
