I guess I was just worried about it being that hot on a short trip in relatively flat Pennsylvania, Towing cross country up mountain passes is what worries me, but maybe you are correct and that isn't hot at all.
I run a scan guage and this is after towing my 5k camper 2.5 hours. Too hot for my liking and I’m planning to tow cross country in the future so think an extra cooler is in order.
Has anyone come up with a front swaybar disconnect for the 1958? Is it possible to swap in the one from the higher trims? Are there end links that can be manually disconnected when off road? Hopefully Apex Designs releases an Airlynx that is compatible. Any other options?
I think this is what toyota advertises, however my base model with no add ons has a sticker on the door jam that says max payload 1100lbs. Pretty bummed about it actually as the 1687lbs payload was one of the reasons I purchased.

It had bilsteins when I purchased it and felt too soft. Swapped them to adjustable rancho9000 and turned them to the stiffest setting. Didn’t really help. I think it would need stiffer springs. But that would add even more height, which I don’t want. Mine are Stock leaves with an add a leaf...
