Same situation here, got my Depos a week ago and would like to get them covered as soon as they are installed. Also got some Rigid LED lights that I'd like to cover. Overkill? Anyone scratch/crack the lens on one of those yet? I guess any local shop that does clear bra/tint can do this?

Yeah, I'm having them fix the leak, and also do a "new customer inspection". Better safe than sorry!

Ohhh... MetalTech is up here... Maybe it's time for me to trade in my SROR sliders for some MetalTech ones. If this coolant fiasco isn't too bad maybe MY LC is getting MT sliders for Christmas. :p Thanks for the suggestion!

So I moved up to Portland last week and the 80 made it all the way up here no problem. I was running errands last night and noticed the temp gauge rising fast, pulled over, shut it down and heard a horrible hissing sound and saw steam coming out from under the hood. :o Looks like the coolant...

Anyone looking at replacing their MAF on an 80 should at least look at Landtanks replacement performance MAF https://forum.ih8mud.com/merchandise-storefront/166370-landtank-performance-maf-housing.html It's a very economical way to get a bit of performance boost using a modern OEM Lexus MAF.

I have State Farm, and every mod I've done is covered. I've saved my receipts and documented what mods I have (just in case of a full theft.)

Sounds like the compressor clutch to me. Open up the hood and watch to see if the belt is slipping on the pulley.

I followed Cruiserdrew's install for my own (w/ some mods of course) and have the BIC going directly to the main battery. I've run down the main several times and have never had a problem starting from the AUX. I _did_ go oversize on the wires though so that may contribute. Also mounting the BIC...

Great Build! I installed "damplifier" instead of dynamat (I've used both) on my 80, works great! They have a bunch of product for heat reflection and vibration dampening: Damplifier - Acoustic Vibration Dampening Mat Keep up the great work!
