Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is more like a 13% difference isn’t it? Maybe I’m looking at the wrong models. Either way, real world experience camping at big bend and other hot southern locations has shown me that getting past two days with a 100 ah lifepo4 battery is questionable.

Where are you camping? I doubt it’s south of the Mason Dixon line. There is no way my fridge would run on that battery for 4 days in Texas heat.

This is why I settled on a solar panel being the only viable option for a full time fridge. Plus 70 degrees isn’t even close to realistic where I am in Texas. We just had pretty much two months straight over 100 degrees.

Yes, that’s lithium iron phosphate. It’s the best option for this kind of application. I personally would not even consider the optima because the trade offs are so great. It’s heavier and also has the much lower useful range as Linuxgod explained. I have an Amazon generic lifepo4 power station...

I have ARP head studs on my 6.0 powerstroke out of absolute necessity. How much of a benefit do these provide to the 3UR? I’m big on preventative things like this if they make sense.
