This is a GM Muncie SM420 Transmission. Trannys came from 1947-1963 Chevy and GM trucks. According to numbers it's a 55. Heavy duty trans, cast iron casing with a low "granny" gear good for crawling. Has PTO port on side of case. Rear drum is Driveshaft parking brake, easily unbolts if desired...
