I have a complete and well received running 1999 100 series and a 1992 80 series. Should I marry the two together? SAS for the 100? Or a complete motor, tranny, Ecu and wiring for the 80? Seems like it’ll cost the same to do either. 🤔🤔

I’ve researched the SAS and there seems to be a lot more modifications and fabrication that happens. I am limited to what I can do because I live in California and wits end has only made a turbo kit for the 4.5L and mine is the old 4.0. I’ve seen the turbo and SC kits out there but wits end...

Thanks for the response. It was a typo. I was thinking about a 100 series motor 4.7 into an 80. My motor is the 4.0L in the 80. I also own a 100 series (trying to either sell the 80 or swap the motor out and sell the 100.) 🤔🤔

Thanks, ive done some more digging. It also seems that forged vs. cast is an issue as far as motors go. I’ll just hope and hunt for a TRD sc one day. 🤔🤔

Sounds crazy. Was thinking about swapping my 2UZ for a 2011-2014 Tundra/sequoia 5.7L. Lucky enough to find an SC for that motor. Anyone know if anyone has done such a swap. I’m trolling mud but I’m appealing g to see if anyone has a shortcut? Thanks

I am trying not to laugh and be understanding, but I was scratching my head on this one... went snowboarding and there was maybe and inch of slushy snow on the ground. I had my diffs locked just Incase... not sure this person got the memo!😂😂😂 look closely...not my 100!
