80 series rear axle with front axle Tundra brake mod

Will someone please verify that the interface between where the soft brake line and the caliper meet is acceptable in this photo, please? I purchased part #BRH02934 from Cruiser Teq for my '62 and the depth of the female threads on the caliper are shorter than the length of the male threads on...

Shipping Location in MT - Canadian Looking for help

I'm way the heck down in Bozeman so unless you feel like taking a trip to Yellowstone as a side trip I think you'll be better off finding somebody up in Whitefish or Great Falls. Not sure if Idaho has a cruiser community here on Mud but Sandpoint might be an option for you too.

What have you been doing with your Toyota?

Piggy backing on this conversation. I need a new screen for my '62 and am hoping I can also repair any rust or damage that might be under there. Anyone know if I can get the glass taken out one day and then have the new one out in later on?

I was wondering about that. The one I pulled off today broke from being brittle and it looked grooved but couldn't tell. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll probably just order them from Utah if I can't get them local but I'll definitely go with a reputable source.

Knuckles and Birfields are pulled apart and all cleaned-up. Tie-end rods are soaking in PB Blaster. Rotors need to go to a shop for new studs because I have no idea how to get them apart. Carefully rebuilding the hubs. Leafsprings, greasable shackles, and shocks are on deck.

Do any Bozeman folks know if I can source a couple o-rings for my Aisin free hubs locally (the rubber rings, I've got all the gaskets)? I haven't called the dealership nor Rising Sun yet - - figured I'd ping 'Mud to see if anyone has insight.

    Dad's Montana 80

I own three vehicles all with permanent tags. Paid for themselves a couple times over easily. Enjoy the truck. Hopefully you get it back up on top of the Gravelly Range again someday.

    Dad's Montana 80

I see those Madison County "25" plates are going to live on forever. I live just up the way from where your Dad was and I've currently got my '62 on jackstands doing the knuckles, tie end rods, rotors, calipers, leafs, and shocks so I thought I'd throw in a shout out to you and your Dad's...

Camping with your 60/62 thread.... ready go:

Hell yes! I'm originally a Minnesota boy and the Northwoods of those parts are what instilled the love of camping in me. My '62 is up on jacks in my garage as I rebuild the knuckles, and replace rotors, shocks, and leafsprings this winter and it's definitely got me thinking about camping.

This is not a recent picture but this thread rules and I thought I'd breathe some life back into it.
