    Good Eye Matt, Thanks for the reference! Same exact thing happened to me (cruising the interstate and saw/smelled burning oil), but he never posted his solution. I'm also hoping to make the repair without having to pull the engine like he suggested he may do. I'll keep my fingers crossed...

    * I have a 1994 LC with 175k miles that started blowing/leaking a large amount of oil out of the lower right hand side of the timing cover. At fist, it was hard to tell where the oil leak originated because the underside of the engine/compartment had a lot of oil dripping off it...
