It tows very well and notably much better after the ARB/OME suspension as it's much more stable now. It's certainly not over-powered with the small V8 but fully adequate and my trips to launch are long, 1 1/2 hours each way by highway. The other things is my boat weights around 3500lbs plus...

It is a daily driver for the most part. I do think constant use would help and much of this is my highway commute to work (my wife is always local in town however), but there are times during a given year that the truck sits for months as other vehicles are used, especially for the >$6.00/gal we...

4 Timing belts at normal intervals and no issues w/exhaust manifold I'm aware of, no known leak noise or symptoms.

Happy ending, truck is fine. Nothing more than a fan/accessory belt that broke as a result of a pully bearing finally failing at 457K. That was a first, wife was driving so her fault. I've reported on this (bought new) amazing '99 Landcruiser before but now 457K and still runs perfectly. No...

Speaking of a '99, is this the end of mine at 457K? 1st time it's ever needed a rescue.

I really drives great, no rattles, no loose or wandering steering, and with the ARB suspension, much tighter (it feels less like a luxury ride, now more responsive and sure footed, stiffer but just right) and less body roll than original. It took some time and a few adjustments to get the front...

My '99 (I bought new) now at 452,600. I've been updating with what little work/repairs this truck has needed earlier in postings (never needed engine or transmission work, no diffs, no X-fer case) with only typical 'wear' parts like water pump, timing belt, alternator, brake rotors, AC...

Many of my ‘99’s 444,000 miles are towing this and without any rust despite dropping it in salt water it’s whole life. Zero drivetrain/serious mechanical issues whatsoever w motor, tranny, diffs, X-fer case, and ARB/OME lift kit made it more stable and sag-free towing the boat.

444,444 mile 1999 update. Bought new, no motor or transmission, diff, or transfer case repairs to date ever. Just completed 4th timing belt/water pump, fixed an AC leak, and new fan clutch. History includes only normal wear parts such as alternator, wheel bearings, radiator, coils, AC parts...

My 1999 (bought new) is still adding up the miles, now through 420,000. The valve covers have never been off, it's the original motor, transmission, diffs, X-fer case, etc. etc. and does not burn a drop of oil still! I'll change routinely at 5-7,000 miles, conventional oil. For mods, almost...

My '99 turned 409,000 on this 88 mile trailer ride. Other than OME 2" lift (went with 'medium' rear coils, HD ones too stiff and ride sucked) and drilled/slotted Stoptech rotors (which don't warp), truck is original and still runs perfectly. With the OME kit, it tows with much more control and...

NW Nevada desert trail riding miles from nowhere. Long walk home if LC ever broke down, but it only had about 350,000 miles at the time so no worries.

Thanks and that is an 1986 20'. While the same Potter variable dead rise hull mold, beam, deck, etc. it was made under the later Tracker era just before Bass Pro. Purists look down on these later boats, but this era has a very nice console, teak, high quality hardware, hatches, layout, etc. and...

Sorry, replaced usual parts that wear (front wheel bearings once, water pump, usual timing belts as needed, 3-4 ignition coils, radiator once, AC compressor, shocks, brake rotors. That's it. The only non-factory anything are the BFG K02s, KYB shocks, one K&N air filter.
