I may have to give this a try. I may cut some wood spacers, so I don't jeopardize the rain gutter. Maybe I can attach the door bow to the top and use that to pull the top into place.
Thats an aftermarket flex fan, blades “flatten out” at higher temps. It is a poor substitute for a conventional fan and clutch because it adjusts only for engine speed not temp. I am not versed on how to convert to a (more modern) plastic fan and...
JB might hold, particularly if you leave the radiator cap off to keep pressure down, that area will flex with pressure. If you try JB scuff deep with 40 grit sandpaper!
Also, the temp tends to shoot up when you stop; no fan or water pump running; in engine heats up and expands. You can watch it with a manual temp gauge. But yes confirm the cap, might be an anomaly; cars are not as consistent as we would like!
I would sell it disclosing buyer needs to repair/replace frame. You will never catch up on the cost vs selling price. Most buyers would plan on new body/ major rust repair at the same time. I passion project.

It look like you made a cross bar for your lift arms to reach the narrower frame in this area. I thought about this, my lift barely reaches and is slightly over extended!
In this case, with a Holly FI, a Dyno session should really be about tuning fuel curves throughout the pull. As many carb vs FI "debates" have pointed out the FI learning is really only a few facors with some percentage or ratio overlays. A...
I like it.. I call it holistic design; throw together your idea; then let it evolve as you use it.
Re: thinner material comment; I like building with 1/2 baltic birch marine plywood. There are more cross grain veneers so is more stable than...
If the compression does not increase "wet" with oil aiding in sealing the rings it is an indication you might get away with "just" a valve job. Probably worth pulling the head and inspecting. I do like testing with another gauge as suggested...
This is a picture of a used one of ebay. I did this back in the day to an early FJ40 as I had converted to a 2brl intake and header and needed to remount old canister filter. It is cleaner looking under the hood but not oem.. Takes a standard oil...
There are no $250,000 homes in Colorado, in the Front Range a old un-remodeled depreciated bungalow or ranch is $450,000-$550,000.. the before of a fix n flip. Dad’s 980 sf up and cellar basement just flipped at $720,000 cash.. mostly Home Depot...
Goodyear makes the Wrangler MT/R in 35” x 12.50 x 15” (my son has them on his CJ7, nice tread, heavy tire; you can still find some 37” x 10.50 x 15” as has been referenced.
