I connected the #3 to the positive post of the battery I am not getting a turn to the starter. I also did some hammering around the starter and the solenoid still no reaction to the starter. Does this mean my starter is bad? Is there a way to check the condition of the starter without removing...
I jumped post #1 And #2 there was spark but it did not turn the starter. I will now disconnect #3 and run a wire to the positive post of the battery. Thx will keep you updated.
Thank you just to confirm. I will put a screw driver between post #1 and post #2 to jump the solenoid. Thank you. I assume if this does not work I have a failed starter. Thank you
