My 40 is on 2.5" springs and SOA. Its pretty soft for the street but seems to flex pretty good. I wouldnt remove any leaves from it though. That would make it softer and would increase body roll and wheel hop. Its running 36's with plenty of room for more tire. Im guessing a 40" would fit with...
