Changing out my '68 windshield frame for something like an 80. Not sure the exact year but it is later model (big motor cover). It did not come with hinges.
The old '68 hinges line up on 3 out of the 4 holes in the windshield frame. That last lower front facing hole on both sides...
I believe I used a PPG epoxy primer, K series hi-build if I remember correctly, but my body was not smooth and had a lot to cover up. And if the windshield was down in town it was definitely Rob.

Why does that VIN start with a "3" denoting a 1963 vehicle - which is no shock since 1963 was when this body style was made, but the tag shows 1965? Something's a little fishy there. Other than that, she looks nice.

Apparently there is a stock, unmolested 1964 FJ40 in Fallon that is for sale. It has no top nor doors and the only thing that is not stock is apparently the starter.
