Thanks I think if somone has a stock metal body they can measure from the underside of th floor to the top of the steel mount on the frame. I really need the 1st and 2nd back from the firewall.

I think the aluminum tub is different. I have the energy susp. kit as well. your tub pobably has U shaped backets that are welded to the underside of the tub right?

The tub I think is a mallote. It is a diff. frame its a 78. The truck was a complete running 73 fj 40 but the origional owner installed the tub and I feel he rigged spacers in it. The frame was bad and I am replacing w/ a 78 frame. If i could find dimensions from the underside of the floor to...

I am trying to mount a used fiberglass body back on my frame. I think it needs spacers besides the new bushings on a fiberglass tub. I need to know where and how thick. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:doh:
