Agree with Godwin. I had this exact issue when I bought mine. The rubber gasket was missing. Replaced tstat and gasket, now it runs in the middle of the band.

I am in for one also. This is a great idea.

Aluminum foil. Just rub it where the rust is. I live near the ocean and use it when my chrome starts showing rust.

I had VR (mine is the box on top of the alternator) problems with my '84. After two alternators and two VR's I decided to do the GM alternator swap. I think I still have a VR I special ordered from Autozone and never installed it. If you r interested.

Are the E-brake handle, center console, hood bump stops, oil pressure gauge, or A/C compressor available? If so, what type of condition and shipped to 34996. Pics of the console? Thanks

Up for sale is a Wells brand FJ60 voltage regulator for an IC Regulator type alternator. It was purchased 2 months ago at Autozone for around $40. It was installed on my truck for about 30 minutes and 1 trip around the block. I have since switched to a GM alternator. $22 shipped with insurance...

FJ60 Parts How about the e-brake handle and cover(brown), brake master cylinder cap and relay inside and I'm not sure if the '81 has a chrome strip along the lower drivers side(under the door), but if you have one I'm interested. Thanks Eric

Sweet! I'll take it. Are there guards/protective strips that go along the raised portion of the roof also? How about the chrome strip below the drivers door? Brake master cylinder resevoir and cap? Emergency brake handle? Don't need the boot, just the handle. Thanks
