    "It's Basically a Land Cruiser" Swapping a 9.5" LC100 rear end into a GX470

I know that the front diff is different (because I tried to use the 4.10 front gears from the LC in the GX Clamshell) From what I've read, the GX front clamshell style diff is stronger than the LC. After being inside both, I'd agree. The carrier is one piece instead of bolted together, and the...

    "It's Basically a Land Cruiser" Swapping a 9.5" LC100 rear end into a GX470

I’m putting portals on in spring, no reason to go beefier as the portals are geared down 25%, reducing the load on the rear end. The 9.5 is more than enough for the GX application, and preserves more ground clearance

    "It's Basically a Land Cruiser" Swapping a 9.5" LC100 rear end into a GX470

I picked up a set of 4.10 gears from ECGS, I think it was $350 shipped.

    "It's Basically a Land Cruiser" Swapping a 9.5" LC100 rear end into a GX470

Hey folks! I wanted to share a DIY project that I did on my GX. While down at Cruisers on the rocks, I blew up my fourth 8" rear end in the GX. Chatting with some of the other guys there, we came up with the idea that I'd try and squeeze the 9.5" rear end from an LC100 into the GX. They're...

1984 Toyota Camry / Vista with 1.8l turbo diesel 1C

I'm always open to trying my technology in new applications. It's not always a perfect match for the use case, but there's a shocking number of good applications. (I'm currently running 3DP control arm bushings... 2 years on them so far) If you can provide some measurements for a preliminary...

    Sway Bar Tuning and Musings

Yes! provided they give the longevity I'm looking for. I have done some cycle testing on these on my suspension dyno with positive results. I'm considering a "soft launch" of these to get a few more sets out in the wild for people to try out and abuse. Ideally folks who wheel often. If you're...

    Is my suspension worn out?

Really happy to see y’all recommending my business on here, thanks folks! One other feature that our product offers is true damping (essentially energy dissipation) much like how a hydro bump works. This is enabled by our compression damping ports that lead into the interior core of the...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Of course - anytime. Doesn’t take much to keep the bolts from backing out, and the bumps see almost entirely upwards load. Thanks for your business!

    Builds 2018 Premium 460 build

Love talking shop with folks. The notion of an "ultimate stop" is a misnomer and gets tossed around a lot in the community. In reality, the spring rate just continues getting exponentially higher, so you eventually draw a line in the sand, and call the product "stopped" at a point, as the...

    Experience with Perry

Hey, I totally respect the concern about side to side movement. We recently added a simple graphic on the website to explain the design intent. There's a failure mode with a competitor's product that I'm trying to avoid - essentially, the rigid mounting base appears to force their bump stop to...

Depending on the filament, they'll work. But you'll be susceptible to batch to batch material variation, so you might see fatigue failures. I moved away from filament in October of '23 because filament manufacturers could not reliably control their material. We now print with screw style...

What have you done to your 200 Series this week?

Hey there, thanks for the feedback. When you purchased your bump stops, did you select Yes for AHC at checkout? I have an AHC specifically to allow vehicles with AHC to be able to use the whole range.
