I was trying to determine why my project FJ55 would not continue to run, unless putting gas into the carb. Narrowed the problem down to the fuel pump in the tank. So I decided to remove the sending unit to also take a look at it. Removed the screws, pulled out the top of the sending unit...

Guy I purchased it from told me he took off the Fuel tank and had work done to it. SO I assumed it was the original, since he was the second owner. Not sure what its total capacity is, sorry. I would again asume it is close to the original capacity size tank. IF you would like to look at...

I dont have the original carb, sorry. The fuel tank is the original. But the 2nd owner, one before me, had it taken off and repaired. He could not find another.
