Hey there, i'm gonna be changing my cam belt here right away, and probably need new injectors judging from the smoke that billows outta of my exhaust upon start up sometimes. Just wondering if any members here have found a nice shop that they use who they trust and have reasonable prices...

Hey thanx for the tips guys, i got my rad hose in last night no problems. A little tough to get that valve open to drain the coolant, but other than that she works great. I'll have to post a pic sometime here or atleast on my avatar. Cheers

I don't suppose anyone here knows what the size of the lower rad hose for the 2.4L diesel Hilux is do they, they had a hard time measure it at the shop when i was picking up the heater, he just guessed 1 1/2".

hmm, well i already returned my oil pan heater, and got the hose heater. my buddy might still have his pan heater. I just replaced both batteries, so they're in good shape. It looks like there's only 2 days in the next 2 weeks were it will be quite chilly, so i'll continue to ponder my options...

hey, while i've got a few of you reading this, what air filter are you guys using for the diesel hilux? another toyota issued part, or is there alternative?

Well my only concern is i don't have a garage, aso when you gents elude a lower rad house being sufficient, is that taking into account there will be 10-11 hour nights of -30 with just the rad hose plugged??

Thanx for the input guys, muchos appreciated. :D So, what i get from all of this is that the lower rad hose should do the trick. So the question is, will this oil pan heater really make a difference if i already have the rad hose heater on? Cause i can return it and save myself 80$, so...

Hey guys, sorry to newb it up in here, but i can't get anything to fit on my SSR-X 2.4L T-Diesel. I don't want to pay the big $$ for the OEM one, the PH8A certainly didn't fit, and they can't seem to find a framm PH5123... Help? Please?
