AE86 is a radically different engineering program. Can’t compare it to a LC. Quite different demographics as well.

Speedometers will never happen. Aftermarket support exists. Your circuit board will pretty much never fail based on MTBF.

If you have a factory locked rear axle, the long side is an essential piece and it's applicable for all 80 series trucks from 1990-2007. Axle is damaged, truck no go.

The fusible link will be for HDJ8x iterations which have been discontinued.

It's a rear axle shaft long side. Not the rear driveshaft.
